Biography
I am a semi-retired professional historian. I spent my career teaching in British universities, and retired from teaching as Senior Lecturer in Modern European History, Queen Mary, University of London. I have continued to do research and to publish scholarly books, chapters, and articles and to lecture on occasion. I consider myself an academic writer, but am currently writing a work of historical fiction.
